System C partner receives triple success on research and innovation award’s shortlist

The DETECT research study, which is using System C’s CareFlow Vitals, has been shortlisted in three categories of the North West Coast Research and Innovation Awards, designed to recognise a strong commitment to innovation with research.

The study with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, The University of Liverpool, Edge Hill University, Lancaster University and System C has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Patient Safety Innovation Award (DETECT study)
  • Research Student of the Year (Gerri Sefton)
  • Research Team of the Year (DETECT research team)

The DETECT study is a first-of-type research programme to identify early warning signs of deterioration in children using System C’s e-observation system with the aim of reducing critical care transfers.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 28 February in Warrington.
