Who are we?

System C is a British technology company that has been supporting the NHS and social care for forty years. We are clinically led with over a thousand person years’ frontline NHS and social care experience across development, deployment, and adoption. This includes expertise in patient administration, clinical workflow, shared care, population health, care coordination, child health, immunisations and social care including councils.

System C: a market leading EPR

We are proud to be the market leaders in acute electronic patient records, with 30 NHS Trusts using our CareFlow EPR solution. Our EPR enables Trusts to meet all requirements of the Minimum Digital Foundations (MDF) and HIMSS. It makes extensive use of handheld mobile systems, and includes PAS, nursing, clinical noting, patient flow, remote patient monitoring, prescribing and full integration with local care community solutions.  

We pioneered the development of e-Observations, Medicines Management, Clinical Collaboration and Shared Care Record systems and continue to invest heavily in R&D. We have invested over £200M over the last five years and this investment in research and innovation is continuing.

Social care, e-observations and child health

We are also the no. 1 supplier in child health, a pioneer in electronic observations with over 40 Trusts using our systems, the fastest growing supplier in social care with 60% of councils and the market leader in hospital pharmacy and medicines management where we support £5bn+ medications per year across 350+ hospitals.
